Questions about the project.
Any organization providing us with funding will be giving us enough to cover a minimum of one artist’s fees. We will not associate any organization with a specific artist or session in order to avoid conflicts of interest and imbalances of power.
Organizations can participate by sponsoring a participants’ fee ($1,000) and/or spreading the word about our project to your community.
Individuals can get involved by registering here.
We will ensure we have a diverse group of participants and the funds secured to compensate them before we begin. Then we will coordinate to get as many of those participants as possible to attend an introductory session that will dictate the content of the subsequent nine sessions. Each participant will be expected to attend every session over the next year, with allowances for occasional scheduling conflicts, where we will make replays available.
We will have our first session in September of 2021. The subsequent sessions will take place approximately once a month from the end of 2021 to mid-2022.
